To simplify your freight needs, Surfaces Transport can be designated as your prepaid shipper or collect shipper.  Signifying one or the other determines which party pays for the shipment as well as who is taking responsibility for it should problems arise.

Prepaid Shipper

For a prepaid delivery, freight charges are paid by the shipping party.  Surfaces Transport has agreements in place with most of the top flooring manufacturers and distributors. 

These companies have selected Surfaces Transport to be their shipping agent for freight deliveries destined for our service area of Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, upper Michigan and northwest Indiana.

Collect Shipper & Collect Freight

For a collect delivery, freight charges are paid by the receiving (ship-to) party. Under this approach, you simply indicate to the shipping party that Surfaces Transport is your freight carrier of choice.  The shipping party will not add freight to your bill and, as a result, you pay a pre-negotiated rate to Surfaces Transport for the delivery of your flooring and related supplies.
